This site is the hosting point for project HOTDOG, a Tcl package fulfillment system that will take up the niche formerly occupied by TEAPOT, and also clean up many sticky issues dealing with Tcllib.
Major areas:
- Policies - Policies for both this project and Tcl package distribution
- Requirements - Project requirements
- Teams - Design teams participating in the challenge
- Implementations - Implementations currently being evaluated, and a history of those which have been abandoned.
- History - Historical lessons that design teams can draw on for inspiration or cautionary avoidance.
We are in design spiral 0, and soliciting ideas for:
- top level user interactions
- design requirements
This will be followed by spiral 1 where teams will coop-ete to produce an implementation that meets those requirements.
Spiral 2 -- There will be no spiral 2.
Spiral 3 is intended to be a "throw out and start over with lessons learned" on spiral 1 before we finally release this product for end-user consumption.
